New Formaldehyde Regulations

Beginning June 1, 2018, composite wood products (manufactured in or imported into the U.S.) must be certified as compliant with emission standards by a CARB approved and EPA-recognized Third-Party Certifier (TPC). As a consequence, all products not respecting the allowed limits will not be accepted in USA; due to the new treatment, wooden products (hardwood plywood, MDF, particleboard etc.) will go up in price, bad labeled packagings may cause delays in customs process and the purchaser may be accused of environmental pollution.

Resin, VEP 87 main material for the production of displays, is excluded from this new compliance. All imports in USA will continue with the standard customs processes.
