Looking back at our timeline, one year stands out as a turning point in our journey into display innovation for outdoor solutions: 2007. That was the year we patented the SHAPE displays for 2CM outdoor porcelain stoneware, the first resin displays with a metal core ever introduced to the global market.

The idea of developing an alternative to wood and metal, the most commonly used materials for outdoor display furniture, stemmed from a very practical realization: even when treated, both materials shared the same structural limitation. Prolonged exposure to weather conditions inevitably compromised both their appearance and durability.

The introduction of this outdoor display technology not only positioned us as industry rule-breakers, but also opened the door to further research into solutions capable of withstanding rain, wind, and snow.

Because a display designed to remain outdoors 365 days a year must first and foremost:

• preserve its aesthetic appeal over time, even under direct sunlight and extreme weather conditions;

• support heavy loads with complete stability and safety, proving long-term structural resistance.

Alongside these essential functional requirements, communication and branding aspects also play a key role:

• design flexibility, enabling the creation of fully customized structures that accommodate samples of varying quantities, shapes, and weights;

• complete chromatic and graphic freedom, turning each display into a coherent extension of the client’s brand identity.

Years later, with the patenting of NEXT technology, we developed a material that allowed us to embody all these characteristics — unlocking a level of design freedom we had never experienced before.

On one hand, its waterproof outer layer makes NEXT perfectly suited for outdoor furniture. 🍃 Modular Platforms and Sample Holders for 2CM Porcelain Stoneware Tiles

Outdoor tiles have evolved significantly over the years, particularly in the formats developed for commercial and residential spaces. Thanks to NEXT, we have created a constantly updated range of display supports designed to enhance not only new formats entering the market, but also the wide variety of available colors.

The raised display units paired with sample racks (shown in the photo) are just one example of the modular furniture solutions we have developed to provide organized and comprehensive ceramic surface presentations. However, the final configuration is always defined by the client, with the freedom to integrate additional custom-designed elements tailored to specific product requirements.

🍃 Freestanding Modular Displays for Selflocking Pavers

The public and private construction materials sector (pavers, concrete slabs, and curbs) was the second area in which we specialized, developing a dedicated display range for this field as well. In particular, one solution has consistently met manufacturers’ needs: the freestanding NEXT display unit, ideal for showcasing multiple samples simultaneously and recreating realistic sections of outdoor paving, exactly as required for these materials.

This solution features a clean design and can be assembled in just a few steps, allowing the collections themselves to take center stage. Furthermore, the same unit can be installed either vertically or horizontally, making it an extremely versatile solution.

🏠 Displays for Roof Tiles

What if roof tiles are the product to showcase? The core requirement remains the same as with pavers and slabs: replicating the real-world application of the product. In the case of roof tiles, this means recreating an actual section of roofing.

By shaping NEXT to create support bases and sloped surfaces, we have developed structures capable of meeting this need, allowing tiles to be installed according to their specific fixing systems. As with our paver and ceramic slab displays, assembly is intuitive and designed to be completed in just a few simple steps.

Given NEXT’s ability to withstand significant weight loads while ensuring total stability and safety, creating a structure capable of supporting a partial retaining wall has never been a concern for us.
